As a Certification & Verification Engineer at Fokker Services, you will play a vital role in developing EASA/FAA approved repair procedures to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance in Component Maintenance activities.

Function

How you keep the engine running with us


– Development of engineered minor repair solutions in accordance with airworthiness requirements;

– Development and creation of cost saving engineering initiatives;

– Justification and verification of failure classifications in accordance with EASA/FAA regulations;

– Development of engineering solutions in order to avoid obsolescence on legacy aircraft platforms;

– Monitoring of new technologies, selection of potential applications and translation into repair development;

– Preparing, checking and approving certification reports.

Requirements

To succeed in this role you should bring the following skills and experience:

– A Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering at HBO level (minimum);

– A strong affinity with aircraft (component) design and operations;

– Knowledge of system design and safety assessments related to Aerospace Engineering;

– Experience with Aviation regulations, preferably EASA Part 145 and Part 21;

– Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills;

– Excellent communication skills both in Dutch and English;

– Demonstrated ability to create plans and rationalize priorities;

– Demonstrated ability in clear communication towards internal and external stakeholders.
