Fokker Landing Gear in Papendrecht is looking for an experienced MRB Lead to take responsibility for the Material Review Board (MRB) process within the Manufacturing Engineering department. A role where quality, engineering and customer focus come together - ideal for someone who feels at home in a high-tech environment with high demands for precision.

Function

The MRB Lead coordinates all activities around non-conformances (NCs), directs involved engineers and ensures that technical standards are met. This role requires keen technical insight, structured approach and clear communication with internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of MRB results (such as non-conformance reports and advanced information)
  • Ensure technical requirements and quality standards are met on time
  • Managing engineers and approvers within the MRB process
  • Identifying technical risks and drafting measures
  • Coordinate with client teams on progress and content of work
  • Represent MRB in team meetings (IPT) and establish priorities
  • Setting targets and KPIs for MRB activities.
  • Collaborate with technical specialists and resolve resource issues
  • Coordinate with departments such as Operations and Purchasing

About the organization

Fokker Landing Gear, part of GKN Aerospace, is a specialist in the design, manufacture and maintenance of complete landing gear. The systems are used in the F-35 Lightning II, Apache attack helicopter, NH90 and Dash 8 Q400, among others. The Papendrecht location is known for technical expertise and involvement in international aviation projects.

Requested:

  • Bachelor's or WO degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing engineering
  • Demonstrated experience with complex technical situations under high time pressure
  • Good knowledge of engineering principles (TEF level 3 or higher)
  • Familiarity with production or maintenance of landing gear or similar systems
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience
  • Good command of the English language
  • Living in Papendrecht region or willing to relocate
  • Willingness to work full-time on site
