Function
As Receiving Inspector, review incoming goods for dimensional accuracy, visual characteristics and documentation. Carefully check each part and certificate for completeness and conformance to specifications. Findings are recorded according to standardized processes and discrepancies are picked up in a timely manner with the quality and logistics team.
Tasks
- Inspect incoming parts and materials for dimensions, visual condition and specifications
- Verify supplied certificates, measurement reports and supplier data
- Record inspection results correctly in the system (Pathfinder)
- Identify and report discrepancies according to established procedures
- Initiate and follow up Non-conformity processes with Quality Engineering
- Liaise with Planning, Purchasing and suppliers in case of discrepancies
- Contribute to a safe, neat and well-organized workplace
- Identify and develop improvement areas in the reception process together with the team

Who are you
Accurate inspector with technical acumen and attention to detail. Familiar with quality standards and inspection methods, or willing to quickly master them.
Your profile:
- MBO work and thinking level, technical or logistics
- Quality control experience, preferably in a manufacturing or aerospace environment
- Be able to read and interpret technical documentation
- Accurate, structured and able to work independently
- Familiarity with AS9100 is a plus
- Experience with ERP systems and inspection tools such as Pathfinder is a plus
- Good communication skills and command of the English language
