Introduction
For Feadship, we are looking for talented and passionate engineers to join their Special Engineering/Exterior (EXT) team. As an engineer, you will be jointly responsible for the coordinated, high quality and timely development of the final design of our prestigious Feadship yachts.
Function

Detailed engineering of yacht equipment and EXT doors, seamless integration into EXT design.

Integration of propeller shaft line and steering systems.

Development of deck and ceiling layouts, teak and railings.

Elaboration of local arrangements such as EXT furniture, EXT stairs, EXT piers, EXT pylons and EXT sunshades.
You do not do all this alone, but work closely with designers, suppliers, Lead/Senior Engineers and other engineering disciplines. You will be under the direct supervision of a Senior Engineer.

Who are you
- MBO/HBO education level.
- Experience with software programs such as NX and Solid Edge/SolidWorks is a plus.
- Knowledge of key regulations such as LROS, REG YC A/B and SOLAS is a big plus
- Relevant work experience in yacht building, preferably on projects of 30 meters or larger.
- Skill in preparing mechanical engineering drawings for assemblies and individual components.
- Knowledge of high quality materials and finishing standards.
- Competence in working with schedules and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to estimate hours and create task lists for reporting status and progress to the Senior Engineer.
- Familiarity with manufacturing techniques and experience with manufacturability of technical components.
