Are you ready to make a significant impact as a Systems Verification Engineer in the Verification, Validation and Acceptance (VV&A) process within the prestigious F126 project at Damen Naval? Damen Naval is looking for talented Systems Verification Engineers to join our team. In this role, you will play an essential role in ensuring compliance, performing document reviews, design reviews and overseeing the traceability of project deliverables from proposal to system acceptance. You will report to the VV&A Manager and work with stakeholders to maintain the Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM) and drive physical testing initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- As Systems Verification Engineers, your responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with Test & Integration and other engineers on requirements engineering and V&V activities, contribute to the overall scope of VV&A deliverables.
- Creating a complete set of system requirements for the assigned system, decomposing crosscutting requirements and rules into system requirements.
- Linking system requirements to appropriate document placeholders, defining verification cases (VeCs) in the VCRM, and specifying test specifications (TeCs) for physical tests.
- Performing appropriate Means of Compliance for systems within your scope and providing evidence of compliance.
- Contribute to the process of agreeing system specifications and VCRM for assigned systems with the customer, as well as the progressive acceptance process.

Who are you
For Systems Verification Engineers vacancies, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering combined with experience in the design and engineering of high-tech complex products.
- Expertise in Configuration Management, Requirements Management and Systems Engineering principles and practices.
- Familiarity with the VV&A process and working with class-regulated products.
- Experience in dynamic medium-sized project environments of high complexity, working closely with project teams and clients.
- Knowledge of Good Engineering Practices, including quality and budget awareness.
- Good command of English (both oral and written) is required, with proficiency in Dutch and German considered an advantage.
- Excellent references, as security screening is part of the hiring process.
- Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required. Candidates with an EU (work) visa or with both EU and non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible in accordance with the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects.
