Introduction
For Feadship, we are looking for talented and passionate engineers to join their Interior team. As an engineer, you will be jointly responsible for the coordinated, high-quality and timely development of the final design of our prestigious Feadship yachts.
Function
As an Interior Engineer at Royal van Lent Shipyard, your candidates will be central to bringing innovative interior designs to life on some of the world's most exclusive superyachts. They will be responsible for the technical realization of the interior, ensuring that everything from staircases and ceilings to custom furniture meets the highest standards of luxury, functionality and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed engineering plans, 3d models and technical drawings for superyacht interiors.
- Ensure designs comply with class and flag regulations and project specifications.
- Perform technical reviews to optimize designs for manufacturability.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges.
- Effectively collaborate with engineering, production and design teams.

Who are you
- A Bachelor's education in Industrial Design or a related technical study.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience as an Engineer in Shipbuilding.
- Proven experience in an engineering role focused on interiors (ideally within marine, architectural, or high-end residential sectors).
- Strong understanding of interior design principles and construction techniques.
- Proficiency in CAD software and 3d modeling tools. Preferably Autocad, Cadmatic and NX knowledge.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A passion for excellence and attention to detail.
