As a Data & Configuration Management Engineer, you will be responsible for structuring, securing and monitoring all product information and configurations throughout the life cycle of a system.
Function
This position focuses on managing configuration baselines, documentation and technical changes within aerospace projects. From establishing processes, to leading change boards, this role provides the link between engineering, production, quality and program management to ensure complete control and compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare configuration management plans and procedures according to aviation standards;
- Manage baselines (functional, assigned, product) through the entire system cycle;
- Control changes through formal Change Control Boards (CCBs);
- Coordinate with engineering, production, quality and project management;
- Provide revision management and release of drawings, specifications and software;
- Ensure compliance with export regulations (such as ITAR and EAR) in data processing;
- Collaborate with other engineers, domain experts and international partners.

Who are you
A structured and communicatively strong engineer with knowledge of configuration management, aviation standards and technical systems. You are able to keenly assess and carefully record technical information.
Your profile:
- Completed college or university degree in aerospace, mechanical engineering, systems engineering or similar;
- Minimum of 3 years of configuration management experience within aviation or defense;
- Knowledge of CM standards (such as CMII, AS9100) and systems such as Windchill, Teamcenter or ENOVIA;
- Understanding product lifecycle management and system development;
- Familiarity with defense technologies such as sensors, navigation or propulsion is a plus;
- Experience with export control (such as ITAR/EAR) is desired;
- Strong in documentation, structuring and collaborating in multidisciplinary teams.
