Function
As a Manufacturing Engineer MRO, you will work within an international team focused on the maintenance and overhaul of advanced landing gear systems, including those for the Apache and NH90. You will be the contact person on the shop floor and ensure that technical problems are solved quickly and effectively.
Within the MRO team in the Manufacturing Engineering Department, you will be responsible for providing technical support for the maintenance and overhaul of landing gear systems. You will collaborate across departments and focus on continuous improvement.
Your duties and responsibilities include:
- Act as first point of contact for technical problems on the MRO shop floor and with suppliers.
- Prepare and manage process routings for MRO operations.
- Collaborate with Process Engineering, Quality, Production Operators and Procurement to solve technical problems.
- Develop repair designs or salvage proposals and coordinate with clients and design authorities.
- Develop and improve tools and equipment in close cooperation with technicians.
- Investigate and resolve product deviations.
- Drive process improvements using Lean initiatives

Who are you
You are practical, think in solutions and communicate easily with colleagues at all levels. You thrive in a technical, multicultural production environment. Further:
- Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in Aerospace MRO.
- Familiar with quality systems and aviation regulations (AS9110, EASA/EMAR-145).
- Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement techniques.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Solution-oriented, hands-on and responsible.
- Fluent in English.
- Because of salary regulations, you have the nationality of an EU member state.
