For our engineering team we are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer Production Support who acts as a link between Engineering and Production. You ensure that technical solutions are not only right on paper, but also optimally feasible in practice.
Function
As Senior Engineer Production Support, you are responsible for the quality and feasibility of engineering within our luxury yacht projects. You will supervise and coach engineers and apprentices, monitor technical standards and be a sparring partner for production. In this role you contribute directly to the manufacturability, feasibility and quality of our yachts.
Your duties include:
- Oversee final design, detail engineering and 3D models.
- Supervise, coach and technically manage engineers and apprentices.
- Testing for compliance with regulations, classification requirements and flag states.
- Resolve technical bottlenecks through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Reviewing drawings and documentation.
- Participate in the development and improvement of engineering standards and innovations.
- Coordinate with production, suppliers and subcontractors on technical requirements and feasibility.

Who are you
You bring:
- A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Engineer in ship or yacht building.
- Knowledge of 3D AutoCAD, Teamcenter and Cadmatic.
- Good command of the English language (oral and written).
- Experience in exterior engineering, moving equipment and equipment integration.
- Understanding of cable and panel planning, on-board systems, and knowledge of weight monitoring and budgeting.
- Deep technical understanding of yacht building, manufacturing and construction processes.
- Analytical ability and a high standard of quality.
