Function
As a Shop Floor Scheduler, you are the link between planning, production, logistics and purchasing. You ensure that everything on the shop floor runs smoothly: on time, with the right resources and according to schedule. Thanks to your insight, the production process remains in motion and bottlenecks are quickly resolved. Your tasks:
- Set up, monitor and adjust the daily production planning
- Checking that schedules are feasible based on capacity, resources and quality controls
- Monitoring inventory levels and identifying material or delivery problems
- Coordinate maintenance, changeover times and any adjustments in production
- Tracking production performance and adjusting for deviations
- Visualizing planning on the shop floor for optimal insight
- Participate in improvement projects in the area of planning and process optimization

Who are you
You like structure and get energy from optimizing processes. You communicate clearly with colleagues from different departments and switch priorities effortlessly.
You bring:
- MBO+ or HBO working and thinking level (engineering, manufacturing, supply chain or logistics)
- Experience with production planning or shop floor scheduling
- Knowledge of MPS / SIOP / MRP and ERP systems
- Strong numerical understanding and proficient with Excel or data analysis tools
- Experience with visual planning systems is a plus
- Accuracy, initiative and good overview in a technical environment

GKN Landing Gear is part of GKN Aerospace, a global supplier of aircraft components. The Papendrecht location designs, manufactures and maintains landing gear and components for aircraft and helicopters. They work on prestigious programs such as Apache, NH90 and Reaper.
