Introduction
WFS PRO is looking for a Junior Operational Manager for a technical organization in the Pijnacker region. In this position, you will combine operational management, planning, coordination, and process improvement within a technical service and rental environment. An ideal role for someone who wants to grow within operations or technical management.
Function
As Junior Operational Manager, you are (jointly) responsible for ensuring that daily operations run smoothly. You manage processes, support colleagues on the work floor, and monitor planning, quality, and safety. In addition, you work closely with head office and act as a link between operations and management.
You will be given plenty of scope to contribute ideas on process optimization, efficiency, and customer-focused working. This position is ideal for an operational coordinator, team leader, or junior operations manager with an affinity for technology.
Your duties and responsibilities
- Supporting and coordinating daily operations at the Pijnacker site
- Planning and organizing technical rental and maintenance work
- Coordination with headquarters regarding planning, capacity, and implementation
- Performing and checking administrative processes, including: preparing and following up on quotations, processing work orders, and checking invoices.
- Maintaining and optimizing schedules and production
- Identifying bottlenecks in operations and proposing improvements
- Contributing to a safe, structured, and efficient working environment

Who are you
- MBO+ working and thinking level
- Preferably a technical background (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, service, or maintenance)
- At least 3 years of experience in an operational, coordinating, or managerial role
- Experience with planning, organizing, and maintaining an overview
- Strong communication skills
- Analytical and solution-oriented
- You take responsibility and can set priorities
- Stress-resistant and flexible
Good command of Dutch and English
