We are seeking a Senior Engineer specializing in Airworthiness & Quality to join our dynamic NH90 team. Functie
As the Senior Engineer in Airworthiness & Quality, you will have a pivotal role in qualifying and certifying aircraft components against rigorous airworthiness and performance requirements.
Some examples of your key responsibilities will include:
Managing qualification processes for GKN Fokker within the NH90 consortium
Representing GKN Fokker in various internal and international meetings,
Building and maintaining strong working relationships with customers, operators, and national (military) aviation authorities.
Defining qualification criteria, including variants, for GKN Fokker workshare and ensuring adherence to certification processes and procedures. You will be responsible for liaising with officials (JMAAN / PA) regarding all aspects of the NH90 variants and the preparation/approval of the set quality standards.

To be successful in realizing the above GKN is looking for the following qualifications:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
Extensive knowledge of aviation qualification/certification regulations (EMAR/EASA Part 21 and FAR/CS 29 or equivalents). Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation qualification/certification activities. And at least 10 years of relevant experience in an engineering discipline, preferably within an aerospace environment and your used to working on multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Do you possess good “people” skills and have the ability to build relationships quickly on multiple levels within our organisation & field because of your ability to speak English and either French or German? And are you passionate about our work and organisation?
