Manufacturing Engineer bij GKN Fokker Elmo

Maak kennis met Alexandre! Alexandre komt oorspronkelijk uit Spanje, maar is voor deze rol naar Nederland verhuisd. Met een achtergrond in Manufacturing Industrial Design in de automotive industrie, heeft hij nu zijn plek gevonden als Manufacturing Engineer in de luchtvaartindustrie.

Verhuizen naar een ander land is een grote stap, maar gelukkig stond hij er niet alleen voor:

“WFS PRO helped me with finding and understanding the job. They helped me also these first months with how to apply for the health insurance and a bank account, and everything. They helped me with my relocation. When I came here, the house was already arranged.”

Ook heeft de cultuur bij GKN Fokker grote invloed gehad op zijn integratie. Bij GKN Fokker werken veel expats, waardoor hij zijn ervaringen kon delen met gelijkgestemden:

“I love the people over here. There are people from different countries, different cultures, all together. I guess that most of us are quite in the same position where you arrive here in a new country, with new people. I would say it’s easy to find other people with the same concerns. I got attached with some of them very quickly because of these shared experiences.”
