As a Sales Engineer for Poultry EMEA, you’ll work on complex and innovative projects within the food processing industry. From a single machine to a complete production line or even an entire factory, you’ll serve as the link between the customer, sales, engineering, and project management. You’ll oversee the process from proposal to handover and ensure that projects are executed successfully from both a technical and commercial standpoint.
Function
As a Sales Engineer, you are responsible for the entire quotation and order process within the poultry industry in the EMEA region. You work closely with Industry Sales Managers, Account Managers, engineers, project managers, and international agents to translate customer needs into concrete solutions.
A typical week involves preparing proposals, coordinating with various internal departments, and overseeing projects ranging in size from €200,000 to €8 million. Occasionally, you may even work on projects worth up to €25 million.
Your duties
- You will coordinate the entire quotation and order process, including budget monitoring.
- You translate customer needs into technical and commercial solutions.
- You prepare compelling proposals that contribute to successful sales processes.
- You'll work with innovation, layout, and installation teams to develop customized solutions.
- You will coordinate with international sales teams and agents within the EMEA region.
- You'll build a strong internal network so you can quickly access the right knowledge and expertise.

Who are you
Must-haves
- You have completed a higher professional education (HBO) program in a technical and/or business field.
- You have experience in a technical, commercial, and/or coordinating role.
- You have a good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- You have experience coordinating between different stakeholders and disciplines.
- You are used to managing multiple projects or initiatives at the same time.
Nice-to-haves
- International work experience.
- Experience in mechanical engineering, the process industry, or food processing.
