What Information We Store
We only keep the information we need to help you find the right job. Most of it comes from you: through your application, your resume, and our interviews. Sometimes we find your profile on a public platform like LinkedIn. In that case, we’ll let you know where we found you when we first contact you.
If you start working through us:date of birth, nationality, a copy of your ID, social security number (BSN), bank account number, and, if necessary, information for a work or residence permit.
Contact information:name, phone number, email address, and city.
Career Information:resume, work experience, education, certifications, skills, and languages.
Your preferences:the type of job you're looking for, region, availability, and desired salary range.
Our communication with you:notes from conversations, job openings we discussed, and the companies to which we referred you with your consent.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to match you with jobs that suit you and to guide you through the process. Under the GDPR, we always need a legal basis for doing so. The table shows which legal basis applies to each situation.
| What We Do | Basis |
|---|---|
| Processing your application and keeping in touch regarding a specific job opening | Steps you are asking us to take toward a potential agreement |
| Keep you in our candidate pool so we can contact you about future job openings | Your consent, indicated by checking the box on the application form |
| Sharing your resume or profile with a client | Your consent, requested on a company-by-company basis |
| Sending your informational emails and newsletters, such as those about new job openings, events, or news from WFS PRO | Your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of each email. |
| Draft your employment contract or secondment agreement and pay your salary | Performance of the Agreement |
| Verifying your identity and right to work, maintaining payroll records, and applying for permits with the IND | Legal Obligation |
| Improving our services and keeping our system up to date | Our Legitimate Interest |
You can withdraw your consent at any time. We will then stop doing whatever we were doing based on that consent. Anything we did prior to that remains valid.
We do not make decisions about you that are based solely on computer algorithms. A WFS PRO colleague reviews every decision made regarding your application.
