We are seeking a Production Team Leader for an international manufacturer in the technical manufacturing industry. You’ll be working in an environment where precision, quality, and collaboration are key. Together with your team, you’ll ensure that production runs efficiently, employees can perform at their best, and improvements are actually implemented.
Function
As a Production Team Leader, you are responsible for the day-to-day management of a production department operating on a two-shift schedule. You will lead approximately 15 to 20 employees and ensure that production, quality, scheduling, and staffing are perfectly aligned.
You will work closely with fellow team leaders, the technical department, the quality department, and operations management.
Your duties include:
- Leading, coaching, and developing a team of approximately 15 to 20 employees;
- Creating and monitoring the daily staffing and production schedules;
- Ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production;
- Quickly resolving disruptions and coordinating with internal departments;
- Improving machine efficiency, lead times, and production processes;
- Initiating and overseeing improvement projects and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- You are regularly present on the shop floor, know what’s going on within the team, and provide support as needed to ensure that production runs smoothly.

Who are you
Must-haves
- You have an MBO Level 4 level of work and thinking;
- You have experience in a manufacturing or technical environment;
- You have experience managing employees on the shop floor;
- You excel at planning, organizing, and setting priorities in a production environment;
- You are fluent in Dutch and/or German.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in the manufacturing, metalworking, or machining industries;
- Knowledge of Lean, 5S, 7S, or other improvement methodologies;
- Experience with production, ERP, or planning systems.
