We are seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer for challenging projects in the Tilburg region. In this role, you will not only contribute to the implementation of mechanical systems, but you will also supervise technicians and subcontractors on-site. You will ensure that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to schedule.
The projects are located in places such as offices, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, schools, and healthcare facilities.
Function
As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you are responsible for the day-to-day execution of mechanical engineering work at project sites. You coordinate with project management and work planning and ensure that your team can perform at its best.
Your duties include:
- The installation of heating, cooling, water, and air-handling systems.
- Managing, supervising, and supporting technicians and subcontractors.
- Preparing and planning work on-site.
- Monitoring the progress and quality of implementation; identifying bottlenecks and coordinating solutions with project management.
- Reporting on work completed and project progress.
You’ll work closely with project managers, work planners, and other colleagues on the front lines to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Who are you
- You have completed a technical program at the MBO 4 level or higher.
- You have at least 3 years of experience as a Lead Technician.
- You have experience managing technicians at project sites.
- You have experience with mechanical engineering systems.
- You have an eye for quality and planning
- You are flexible and willing to take on jobs at various locations
