In the Tools & Methods department, the digital heart of Manufacturing Engineering, you will have the opportunity to contribute to this on a daily basis. This department develops methods and standards, translates data into insights, and supports the growth toward a factory that is becoming increasingly digitized. Think of configuration management in PLM systems, shop floor monitoring, and data analysis: you help make it all possible.
With major changes on the horizon, such as a new ERP system, the introduction of PLM and MES, and further automation, you will make a real impact. Many processes are still manual, but that is set to change rapidly, and you will play an important role in that.

At GKN Fokker Aerospace in Hoogeveen, you will work on innovative structural products that are used on both flying and non-flying platforms.
