The GKN Fokker Elmo Engineering department is looking for an ambitious Supplier Quality Engineer who wants to apply their background, experience, interests and ambitions to the development of future Electrical (Wiring) Interconnection Systems for sustainable aircrafts.

Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) is becoming more and more prevalent as part of electrical and sustainable aviation. As a result, new challenges arise within EWIS development and manufacturing.

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer for our Procurement/Supplier Quality department in Papendrecht. In this role you will regularly monitor the quality performance of supplier and initiate actions depending on the cause of any problem (such as assessments, problem solving activities, etc.) to secure continuous compliance. Manage the supplier quality performance issues, serve as the liaison for suppliers, challenge, facilitate supplier on structural quality, and process improvements.

In addition, you inspect the wiring harnesses of some 95% of the F-35 fighters across the globe, as well as the power cables of the electric aircraft of the future.
