Pedro has been working as a Junior Engineer at Dordtech since May. He was placed by us and is employed directly by Dordtech. With a background in Mechanical Engineering, Pedro is originally from Brazil, but his girlfriend was already living in the Netherlands. As a result, he didn’t have to go through the pre-boarding process to relocate to the Netherlands. In this Talent Talk, he shares his experience with WFS PRO.
Pedro first came into contact with WFS PRO in January, although his current role wasn’t the one he initially applied for: “I think I started talking to a recruitment consultant in January. We had some talks about the job at Coredux, but it was too far away. The recruiter sent my CV to other companies, and that’s how I found the job that I have now.”
Pedro describes his application process: “The recruiter saw that I applied for the Coredux job and messaged me on LinkedIn. After that, we had a Teams call for about an hour. They forwarded my profile to the employer, but I didn’t get the interview because I lived too far away. Then, I had a Teams meeting about Dordtech with another recruiter from WFS PRO. We went over some details, and they gave me a brief explanation.”
He also shared his thoughts on the communication: “Very straightforward and precise. For example, after the interviews at Dordtech, the recruiters at WFS PRO were very interested in my experience with the meetings. The recruiters kept me up-to-date, and I didn’t have to be proactive to ask. They were constantly updating me. That’s something recruiters should do more.”
Finally, Pedro reflects on his overall experience with WFS PRO: “It was very positive. All the recruiters were very present throughout the process. I like that WFS PRO works with different companies. Also, they follow through on what they promise. They’re actually doing it, not just telling me they will.”
