Function

As Lead Engineer, you will provide operational leadership and technical guidance to a team of Engineers (approximately 3 employees). As you focus on Product Development, your work is about developing and applying the optimal technology and concepts in order to lead, with the team of engineers and technicians, the smooth and efficient implementation of the products to be developed by CoreDux. The PD Lead Engineer plans, coordinates, gives substantive direction to projects and monitors the work of his team. In addition to working on projects, you collaborate substantively on design and development and play a role in transferring knowledge and executing complex assignments.

  • Setting up schedules for the Engineers involved and monitoring progress;
  • You supervise, work in and train Engineers;
  • Taking action in case of (impending) deviations;
  • You are the bridge between different disciplines, working closely with everyone and ensuring technical coordination;
  • You guard the mutual coherence between (sub)projects and issues that are involved;
  • You are involved in the continuous improvement of processes;
  • At your own discretion or on behalf of you perform operational activities.

Requirements

  • A completed technical college education
  • Demonstrable work experience in operational leadership or coordination
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in an Engineering position
  • Professional level Dutch and English in word and writing
  • Knowledge of Office and preferably also of ERP systems, SAP is an advantage
  • You have good communication skills (also in English), organizational skills, know how to keep the overview and distinguish main and minor issues.
