Functie
As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, you are the point of contact for quality issues in our production departments, such as Warehouse, SMA, PCBA, and Module Assembly. When a department, such as PCBA, encounters a quality issue like a faulty soldering of a component, you analyze the problem and its cause. You take the lead in containment actions to ensure that no defective products are delivered to the customer. Then, together with colleagues from production and engineering, you initiate corrective and preventive actions based on root cause analyses, supported by tools such as the Ishikawa diagram. Your proactive approach leads to process or tool improvements, directly impacting the quality performance of our production.
You will work in a team of approximately 20 people and frequently collaborate with fellow Quality Engineers (responsible for Design, Supplier, and Customer Quality), Production Process, and Test Engineers. You report directly to the Manufacturing Quality Team Leader.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Leading internal escalations related to quality issues.
- Preparing and conducting Process Quality Audits and internal audits.
- Leading 8D’s and participating in daily operational meetings and improvement teams to implement structural improvements in the production environment.
- Implementing quality methodologies such as Control Plan and FMEA.
- Advising on internal processes and associated risks, based on standards such as IPC norms, during the development of new products.

You are a driven professional with strong analytical skills and a proactive work attitude. You easily connect with people and naturally maintain personal relationships. You are decisive, process-oriented, and know how to prioritize effectively.
Additionally, you have:
- A completed HBO education in a technical or (technical) business field.
- 4-5 years of experience in a similar quality role.
- Experience in a technical production environment; experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
