GKN Fokker Landing Gear in Papendrecht is looking for a BMS Configuration Lead with a sharp eye for structure and compliance. In this role, you’ll manage key information systems while supporting the Site Quality Manager.
Functie
What will you do?
You maintain and improve the local Quality Management System (QMS/BMS) and ensure alignment with industry standards, regulations, and GKN requirements. You’re the bridge between processes, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Manage and improve the QMS/BMS in line with aerospace regulations (e.g. ISO9001/AS9100)
- Ensure integration with systems like Environment (ISO14001) and Information Security (ISO27001)
- Support local process owners with setup and maintenance of business systems
- Coordinate change control, including impact assessments and advice
- Support audits, training sessions, and QA-related communication
- Provide QA administrative support, including preparation of meetings and reports
- Deliver functional support for Quality Management and Information Systems
- Conduct internal audits and support follow-up on findings

What do you bring?
You’re accurate, structured, and able to engage others in quality-driven improvements.
- Completed HBO-level education in a relevant field (e.g. business or quality management)
- Knowledge of aerospace standards and regulations (ISO9001, AS9100, EASA, etc.)
- Experience with business systems and change management
- Proficiency in MS Office and information systems
- Strong communication and analytical skills
