Are you a creative and experienced Mechanical Engineer ready for the next step in your career? At our client, Allseas you will be working on innovative plant and equipment used in offshore pipeline projects, heavy elevator operations and subsea structures. Many of these machines are fully developed in-house. As a Mechanical Engineer in Eindhoven, you will play a key role in the design and realization of advanced, custom-built machines that push boundaries in engineering and execution.
Function
As a Mechanical Engineer you design complete machines from the ground up. You are responsible for the complete process: from concept development and detail engineering to testing, validation and implementation.
Your duties include:
- Designing complex, custom-built machines from a blank starting point.
- Lead and coordinate the design and development process.
- Perform detailed analysis, simulations and testing to validate designs.
- Ensuring performance, quality and safety to the highest standards.
- Organize and lead design reviews, brainstorming sessions and technical problem solving
In this role, you will combine technical creativity with responsibility and impactful decision-making.

Who are you
Allseas is looking for an engineer who is quick to shift gears and stays positive when projects take unexpected turns. You are full of ideas, like to work from a blank canvas and take responsibility from concept to commissioning. With your communication skills you know how to explain choices and design decisions clearly to all involved.
In addition, you bring:
- A completed master's degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics.
- Minimum of five years of experience in building custom-built machines.
- Experience with 3D detail engineering in Autodesk Inventor (or similar package).
- Experience in precision mechanics design.
- A proactive, solution-oriented and independent working attitude.
