Introduction
As a Manufacturing Engineer, would you like to help bring innovative high-tech products to market and ensure that new designs are successfully implemented in production?
Function
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you are responsible for planning and executing the production of new products at CoreDux. Once a customer request and the technical design are finalized, you translate these into an efficient and feasible production process. You ensure thorough work planning and enter all necessary information into the ERP system (SAP).
You will be working on approximately ten to fifteen new product launches simultaneously. In doing so, you will combine project-based work with providing support to the production team on the shop floor as needed.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing technical drawings for manufacturability
- Generating BOMs, routings, work instructions, test plans, and measurement sheets in SAP
- Providing comprehensive digital product information, from prototype through to R4V
- Timely distribution of product drawings and work instructions for internal and external production
- Preparing make-or-buy decisions based on technical feasibility
- Requesting quotes and delivery times for new or customized auxiliary tools
- Identifying additional and reduced scope of work and assisting with cost control
- Developing and continuously improving work instructions.

Who are you
You are a self-motivated and meticulous professional with strong technical insight. You are confident in making decisions and communicating them clearly, have a good understanding of your strengths and weaknesses, and carefully consider the technical and practical implications of your choices in advance. In addition, you have:
- A completed higher professional education program
- A few years of experience in a similar role and in product engineering
- A technical background in precision mechanics / welding
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP is a plus)
- You work meticulously and in an organized manner, and you can handle stress well
- Experience in the high-tech industry, such as the semiconductor or life sciences sector, is a plus
