Introduction
Would you like to be responsible for designing and implementing complete production lines?
In this role, you’ll work on customer-specific production systems, from initial design through to delivery. You’ll liaise with customers, manage engineers, and ensure that projects are technically and organizationally sound.
Function
As a Project Engineer, you are responsible for the entire technical process of mechanical engineering projects. You work on custom solutions for clients in various industries and ensure that everything comes together: design, planning, and execution.
You will work closely with fellow engineers and the production team, and will be in regular contact with customers.
Here's what you'll actually be doing:
- You design and develop machines and production lines using 3D CAD
- You will oversee the progress, scheduling, and technical quality of projects
- You coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
- You will manage mechanical engineers within your project team
- You contribute ideas for technical solutions and improvements
- You will oversee projects from the engineering phase through to completion
- You have a lot of freedom in how you approach projects and are involved from start to finish.

Who are you
You have experience in mechanical engineering and enjoy combining technical skills with coordination and customer interaction.
Must-haves:
- Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Experience as a Project Engineer or Lead Engineer in mechanical engineering
- Experience with 3D CAD (preferably Inventor or SolidWorks)
- You can justify technical decisions and manage projects independently
