Introduction
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing the software product portfolio for the poultry industry. You will work closely with the innovation, product development, marketing, and sales teams, serving as the link between the Poultry Innovation Teams and the Software Product Management Team. Drawing on your strategic vision, you will contribute to the growth and positioning of the software portfolio.
Function
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing the software product portfolio for the poultry industry. You will work closely with the innovation, product development, marketing, and sales teams, serving as the link between the Poultry Innovation Teams and the Software Product Management Team. Drawing on your strategic vision, you will contribute to the growth and positioning of the software portfolio.
Your main responsibilities:
- Identifying market and customer needs and translating them into business opportunities
- Developing business cases, value propositions, and requirements for new product development
- Developing long-term product strategies and roadmap planning for various software product lines
- Managing the entire product lifecycle: from launch to upgrades and end-of-service
- Prioritizing product features and resolving roadblocks with stakeholders
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams (5+ FTE) to achieve the roadmap and product goals
- Representing the Voice of the Customer to development teams
- Conducting market and competitive analyses to support strategic decisions

Who are you
- At least 5 years of experience in software product management or software solution management
- Proven experience in software roadmap, portfolio, and lifecycle management
- Experience leading, influencing, and persuading multidisciplinary teams of 5 or more professionals
- Strong commercial, strategic, and analytical skills
- College or university level of work and thinking, preferably in Business Administration, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of the international software market is a plus
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Willing to travel internationally (10–15%)
