As a Thermal Spray Operator, you will contribute to the performance of aircraft components by applying metallic or non-metallic coatings using various thermal spraying processes. The work combines precision, technology, and quality in a high-tech environment.
Function
In this role, you will ensure that coatings are applied correctly to components in accordance with drawings and specifications. The work requires attention to detail, technical knowledge, and precise execution.
Duties:
- Studying and interpreting drawings and assignment information.
- Determining the implementation, including masking technique, necessary molds, and cooling times.
- Masking and positioning products to prevent damage.
- Performing thermal spraying processes such as plasma spraying, HP/HVOF spraying, arc spraying, powder spraying, and dry film lubricant.
- Checking products for coating thickness, flatness, and diameter.
- Recording measurement results and process information for statistical process control.
- Ensuring correct delivery to internal customers, including packaging and documentation.

Profile:
- Vocational education (MBO) level of working and thinking in a technical field.
- Several years of experience in a similar position is an advantage.
- Accurate and quality-conscious.
- Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to work in two shifts.
- Good communication skills and able to work effectively with others.
- Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing assignments.
