As a Test Engineer at Summox Dental, you will test and validate an innovative system that automates the entire cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization process, reducing it from over 2 hours to just 15 minutes.
Function
As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing, validating, and improving an advanced medical system. You will work at the intersection of mechanics, software, and process control.
You will be part of a small technical team and will work closely with engineering and product development.
Here's what you'll actually be doing:
- You will develop and execute test plans for new and existing systems
- You validate the performance of the sterilization process (including safety, reliability, and reproducibility)
- You analyze test data and translate it into concrete improvements
- You will work with engineers to resolve technical issues
- You document test results in accordance with medical guidelines and quality standards
- You will contribute ideas on how to improve testing methods and validation processes
- You will be working on a product that combines mechanical engineering, automation, and medical technology.

Who are you
You have strong analytical skills and enjoy delving into the details of technical systems to understand and improve them.
Must-haves:
- A vocational or higher vocational education degree in a technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering)
- Experience in testing and validating technical systems
- You can analyze test data and translate it into concrete improvement actions
- You work in a structured manner and are able to document your findings effectively
Nice to have:
- Experience with medical devices or in regulated environments (ISO, validation)
- Knowledge of automation, software, or process engineering
- Experience with verification and validation (V&V) processes
