Introduction
Would you like to develop software that is used worldwide to support the energy transition? At DMT, you’ll work on advanced systems for biogas, biomethane, and liquid CO₂. Your software will control systems that contribute to a more sustainable world every day.
Function
As a Software Engineer, you’ll be involved in the entire process: from engineering and programming to testing and commissioning. You’ll collaborate with Process Engineers, E&I Engineers, Project Managers, and Commissioning Engineers on international projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Development and testing of PLC software, primarily for Siemens
- Configuring operating systems and system architectures
- Preparing and conducting FAT and SAT tests
- Support with the startup and commissioning of systems
- Troubleshooting technical issues and anomalies
- Standardizing and improving software and work processes
- Working closely with colleagues from various disciplines

Who are you
Must-haves:
- A vocational or higher vocational education degree in Industrial Automation, Control Engineering, Measurement and Control Technology, or a related field
- Experience with PLC programming, preferably Siemens
- Experience with industrial control systems and FAT/SAT
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in the process industry, biogas, or similar sectors
- Knowledge of electrical engineering
- Familiarity with control narratives and safeguarding
