Introduction
At Summox, you’ll be working on an innovative medical system that reduces the time required to clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments from over 2 hours to just 15 minutes. Your work will directly determine the reliability of a technology used in clinics and medical practices worldwide.
Function
In this role, you will work in the production and testing environment where mechanics, precision, and quality come together. You will build, test, and inspect complete systems before they are released.
A typical workday involves assembling modules, conducting tests according to a set protocol, and analyzing any discrepancies. You’ll work closely with the engineering team when something isn’t right and actively contribute ideas for process improvements.
Your responsibilities:
- Assembly of precision mechanical and mechatronic components for the sterilization system
- Performing functional and quality checks on complete systems
- Testing and validating systems in accordance with established specifications and procedures
- Identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical issues
- Recording test results and reporting to engineering and operations
- Contributing ideas for improvements to assembly and testing processes

Who are you
- MBO-4 degree in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field
- Experience with the assembly and/or testing of technical systems
- You can analyze and document technical deviations
- You work with precision and follow established procedures
- Proficiency in Dutch or English in a technical setting
- Experience with medical technology or regulated environments (ISO/GMP)
- Experience with mechatronic or precision mechanical systems
- Familiarity with verification and validation (V&V) processes
