Function
As a Master Planner, you are responsible for developing, monitoring, and optimizing the Master Production Schedule (MPS). You ensure that demand, capacity, and material availability remain in balance within a dynamic high-tech production environment.
You’ll work closely with Supply Chain, Customer Planning, Shop Floor Planners, and Operational Buyers. Together, you’ll ensure that operations continue to run in a predictable, stable, and efficient manner.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and managing the Master Production Schedule (MPS) with a horizon of approximately 18 months
- Translating demand planning into a feasible and actionable production plan
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Assembly, and Customer Planning regarding capacity and priorities
- Maintaining a balance between demand, inventory, and production capacity
- Identifying deviations from the schedule and proactively making adjustments in collaboration with Shop Floor Planners and Purchasing
- Analyzing KPIs such as Master Schedule Adherence (MSA) and initiating improvement actions
- Provide input for the S&OP process and improve planning alignment within the organization

Who are you
- HBO or WO level of work and thinking, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Management
- At least 5 years of experience in production planning or supply chain planning within a technical manufacturing environment
- Experience with Master Production Scheduling (MPS), MRPII, or S&OP processes
- Strong analytical skills and experience with ERP systems
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages
- Experience in a high-mix, low-volume production environment
- Knowledge of APICS CPIM or a comparable supply chain certification
- Experience in high-tech, semiconductors, or mechanical engineering
