In this role, you’ll work on advanced high-tech products where precision and reliability are crucial. You’ll ensure that production processes not only run smoothly, but are also continuously optimized to be smarter and more efficient.
Function
As a Production Engineer, you work at the intersection of engineering and production on a daily basis. You’re a visible presence on the shop floor, respond quickly to disruptions, and work systematically to drive improvements. Together with colleagues from engineering, quality, and supply chain, you ensure that processes perform at their best.
You will be part of a team of engineers and report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
In this role:
- Resolve production issues immediately and ensure the continuity of the process
- Analyze your disruptions using methods such as 8D and root cause analysis
- Implement process improvements focused on quality, efficiency, and stability
- Develop and optimize your tooling, for example, using 3D printing technology
- Manage and implement your changes through change control processes (CCB)
- Coordinate your technical solutions with customers and suppliers

Who are you
Must-haves:
- HBO-level knowledge and thinking skills in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Experience with process improvement and problem analysis (e.g., Lean, 8D, RCA)
- Good command of Dutch and English
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in high-tech or precision engineering
- Lean Green Belt Certification
